Workshop on Improving Productivity with Maintenance Management System and Equipment Condition Monitoring

This workshop will introduce and demonstrate SIMTech’s Maintenance Management System (MMS) and IIoT-enabled Equipment Condition Monitoring (IECOM) Modules, pre-approved by Enterprise Singapore as ready-to-go solutions for SMEs in improving their productivity using mobile applications and widely available IIoT devices.

The MMS aims to remove/reduce paperwork traditionally used to track maintenance work orders. It will show how digital platforms can be used to digitize the work flow using a web-based application to manage the maintenance work orders efficiently though a MMS Mobile APP that collect on-site information. The workshop will show how MMS can be used to reduce errors due to handwriting, avoid tedious manual translation of data into digital storage, allow efficient follow-up on completed maintenance services and ensure the flow of maintenance work orders to be managed more efficiently.


The IECOM allows companies to monitor their machines and their sensor data to provide alerts and notifications of machines approaching failure, thus providing users with advanced warning to prepare necessary repair or maintenance actions needed to stock up on inventory associated with the soon-to-fail part or component. The demo will show how the APP, which can run on a web browser and in an Android environment, can be configured to read data from any sensors or machine controller data. Features of the APP that will be shown include live monitoring of the machine condition, alerts sent via SMS and push notifications, sensor data playback, sensor history log, configurable sensor thresholds, basic report generation, machine cumulative running hours and flexible sensor configuration GUI interface.
